I have seen them but don't have one handy. They can look good but I think I would prefer a shoulder or pedestal mount as you miss the effect of the beard, etc.

You're planning a hunt correct? I am in the research phase myself and would love to do a mid-Asian hunt but I'm open to possibilities.

I have this comparison of 2 different horn variations that taped the same...both are 39". They belong to someone here on the forum and I can't remember who posted it originally. Hopefully you don't mind me posting them here.

Thanks, I was wondering what they would look like as I was thinking of hunting in June when the coat would not be at its best.

Yukon, thanks for putting that up. Those are mine. Did them myself. Never seen the inclusion of the beard before but thought it would be appropriate.
The problem with a traditional Euro mount for ibex is the angle between the horn and skull. They just look sort of awkward.
I had the plaques made so they mirrored the shape of the skull cross section, but you could use a standard arrowhed or scroll plaque.

No comment on the trophy room wall, please...
