It would be best to rent a truck dedicated just for your trophys. You can ceate plywood partitions attached to the floor of the trailer or truck and then screw screws from the back to hold them. The larger item can be secured laying down on the floor like your life size mounts and larger shoulder mounts.

I wish I was closer to you so I could help because I have done this for people before. Most moving companys don't know how delicate some taxidermy is.

Are you in the western USA?

Let me know if I can help.

best wishes to you
Steve

Sako308, I recently moved from sydney to melbourne (Australia)and kept my trophy's in storage until my wife and I could decide on a house that we both agree on. ( my only real concern was where to hang the trophy's).
The transport company that moved all our gear including the animals was explained very clearly the importance of taking care of the taxidermy. Fortunatly they did a fine job with no problems at all.
Here is some pictures of my old place before relocating:

Best of luck with your move.

Well, you know I am in the middle of a mess. My stuff have been in transit for almost a year, stored here and there....

I don't have as many mounts as you do, you need a rental truck and a dependable crew to move them. You will have fun hanging them in your new place so that part don't worry about.

Where are you off to?

It would appear that the final destination would be the NW part of Las Vegas. The bride and I are contemplating a bid on a property there.
