Help, I killed one in SA in June. I need some ideas if anyone has a mount. I am thinking of a wall mount with the civit on a small log or stick.

The guy that did my Elk is Gary Wilgus in Marysville, WA 360-659-2787. Don't know if he does African Animals but call hin and find out.

Better check to see if you can even bring it into the states. When I was in Cameroon in 2004 I almost took one and found out that the US Fish & Wildlife folks were not letting them come into the states because they were suspected of being possible carriers of some sort of disease. It would be too bad to find out an entire shipment of trophies is turned away because of a minor trophy like a civet.

You need a CDC permit to bring it in. The Civets that were being refused entry into the US were Asian Civets.

I imported two in 2004 and one in 2003. African Civet, that is.
