these pics are in my old place, which will be replaced this summer by a new home, and an expanded trophy area with an attached reloading room, so hold the comments on the tacky pannelling.

Battle River - With the possible exception of nice paneling, nothing hanging on the wall says more to me about a hunter than a fine whitetail and all the more, in numbers. thumb

actually, I will be kind of sad to see the old place go, It is an original homestead farmhouse built in 1920. with an addition in '74. While it has seen its better days, I have had some great times in here talking hunting, discussing rifles ect.As it is only 900 sq ft, it is to clogged with my gear now and it definitely will not fit my new fiance and her two kids. The basement will then be my new playground. But i will have a few heads upstairs as well.

Those Deer are stellar. Did you get them locally or did you have to travel to another area? I have one nice buck for 35 yrs effort and it's dwarfed by the ones you have. Hell....I'd panel my entire house to get one of those!! clap

Why complain about the paneling when you have a Booner deer hanging on it?? I'm guessing the one on the left in the first picture is ~180" - nice basic 5X5 frame with a few junk points that deduct?? The only downside is that he makes those other deer look small!!

Well done!!

Is your new house in the same place as your old one? Not many of us get to have our own rifle range 200 yards from the back door.
Nice bucks BTW.

About 50 yards north MBNS, It will sit on the hill I now use as abackstop, so I will have to reconstrucy my gun Range. I will still be able to shoot trap, this time right off my deck!I will also be able to spot deer and shoot coyotes from there as well. I will update with pics soon
