Here's a selection of trophies I've collected over the years.
They are not 'Trophies' as in the normal term, they are heads of interest as each one is different and gives signs of a different iifestyle, some are downright ugly too.

I have had these for several years but recently I had to take a friends trophy for measuring and decided to take one of mine that looked similar.
Guess what ? I have had a 'Gold' on my wall for the last twenty years and did not appreciate it
One of them has a palmated antler, another has ten growths/tines in total, some have one antler on one side and two on the other.
Anyway, have a look and see what you think of them, I find them all interesting including the reflection of one of my dogs in the mirror on the back wall, sadly no longer with me .
I've no idea what programme was on the television at the time either

I like the butterfly... animal
I always like unique shaped antlers... Many years ago I was coming home from duck hunting and it was raining and quiet walking... Came around a big green bush and a whitetail buck stood at 20 feet from me and his right antler grew in front of his face.. I decided to hunt for him only and no other buck, and after three days of hunting I got him... one of a kind..

Well here goes, I'm fairly new to this sort of thing so be gentle with me if it comes out a bit fuzzy.
I've tried to put a picture of each side and one of centre and one while still warm, taken with a remington .243 Hornady 87gn Hpt Bt pushed by 40gns of Hogdon 380 lit with a Federal Mag Primer.

Hi Max,
If you divide the bottom half of England into three parts, South West, South and South East, I can tell you those Deer came from the South.
Somerset and Dorset are the counties.
There weren't many people shooting Deer when they were taken, now everybody is shooting them so you will not find many more Deer like those these days.
I was lucky in my younger days, hardly anybody had rifles and so soon after the War, nobody wanted anything to do with them.
Deer were a nuisance so I was welcome to come and shoot them almost anywhere.
That has all changed now. They are seen as a source of income and people pay big money just to shoot a Deer and they don't even keep the carcass.
