My first muzzleloader kill, right after a fight and broke off a side...You cannot tell but along his jaw on both sides are significant sparring scars, in fact, he had an abcess on his left cheek just up from his lipline. This buck was a fighter.

Here's another Ohio buck, real old, we wanted to cull him out. He was the dominant one running around this property. His neck is 23.5" full rut. He bred a doe right in front of me. I didn't have a shot and we didn't want his genes passed on, but he made me in the tree right as I drew and released my arrow on him. got him quartering away strong. Mounted him just cuz...

My first mulie. Not a whopper but suitable for my first hunt. You may not be able to see it, but the rifle is my first one, a Ruger M77 MKII, leftie. It was blue printed, and decked out with a Hart #1 countour 25.5" barrel, .270. He went down with a 130 triple shock pushed by Re 19, 57.0grains. This next one is my first Missouri bowkill: what do you think??

first Iowa kill. bow from ground, 5 yards quartering to me. I needed the meat. Poor student at time. I only had a buck tag. Beautiful mount though on a Joe Meder semi sneak offset shoulder. Look close at how good the eyes look.
