I just received my shipment of animals from RSA.

I am wanting to hang my zebra rug and possibly a few of my flat skins on my wall. With causing the least amount of damage, how did you do it?

Also, I'd love to see some of your pic's

Thanks

I used thumb tacks, the kind that have the raised plastic head, these have a clear head and are not noticable. I will try to get some pic posted. Still having trouble figuring out how to do that.

Sewing needles are the besr way. You can just drive them into the sheetrock at an angle, they make a tiny hole , are made out of very hard steel and you can use as many as you need.

I've used cigar-box nails with good success. They have a small but substantial head that bears the weight well. Not sure how they'd do with a felted rug but it works for flat skins.

If you're hanging it on sheetrock or wood, buy 3/4" round-headed upholstery tacks.

If you can't find the right color, just buy a can of flat spray paint, stick the tacks in a hunk of styrofoam or cardboard and spray the heads. Do at least two or three coats. That's what I had to do since I could only locate antique brass tacks. I sprayed them flat black to match the felt on my zebra, and they are nearly invisible. I put them in about 8" apart, thus needed no other rings or anything to hang the rug.

You will need another hand or two to get it done, however.

I used tiny pin nails to hang my zebra. Stretch it tight is my only advice as it will sag after a few months. Or at least mine did
