Here it is folks, the start of my trophy room/bar/mans nook.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Looks like a great start. Would love to see some of the field photos from your trip.

I don't have many as I was just out hunting pigs with a mate of mine. I stalked into a water hole to kill a young eater when this big bugger walked in.

And me caping the bloody thing out.

Impressive mount! You probably see a hundred Cape Buffs for every one of those (at least here in North America), but this is certainly just as imposing a critter.

By the way, women have "nooks"...men have "caves"! Wink

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I don't have any more Ann, only some mounted pig tusks. Going to work towards some deer mounts next.

My wife would be ecstatic to only have one in the house, get busy and fill it up so she can be mad at you for taking up all the space and intruding onto "her" walls.

Bakes, you're doing it the right way...getting a trophy room then filling it up afterwards. I do it the other way around :-)

Seeing one mounted makes me want to hunt OZ even more.

Biebs, it is much easier to get the $$$ approved for a man cave after you have several trophy head mounted.

It took my lovely wife about fifteen minutes from the time she walked in the front door from work and saw my Cape Buffalo mount on the living room wall to approve funding for my man cave...
