Nicely done Scott. That's a good black bear...really nice cape buff and I like that euro mount...nice bushbuck...neat duiker grouping...nice char...always envious of lions. You need a sable and leopard?

Good choice on the Arino book...and Buzz's DVD!

Scott, you let Wendell into your home? Did you check his pockets for heirlooms and silverware when he left? >:O

Thanks you guys.

Brian, you'd think I'd learn by now, but....Wendell is always welcome in my home and I look forward to showing him some new waters to fish should he be able to return. Actuall, there is room for two fishermen in my drift boat if you care to join us.

Ooo, we should do a little fishing your way and then a little my way sometime. That sounds like a hoot. I love fishing...sometimes, more than hunting.

I'd like that. Your always welcome here. After mid-July, you can pick from river, lake, float tube, high country horseback lake or stream. After mid September, I'm busy hunting. Let me know.

Only enter this agreement if you are prepared to be outfished by a woman. Yes, I know that opens me up for criticism, but it is meant as a compliment to Mrs. SBT. fishing

In my defense, it is her home water. patriot

I've got NO problem with being outfished. With any luck, I end up learning something.

Whats in Star Valley?

Thanks Palmer.

Star Valley is 40 miles down the Snake River from Jackson (Jackson Hole). It runs along the base of the Salt River Range. On the other side of the Salt River Range is the Grey's River, so this is the country famous for trophy mule deer (Region G). The valley has the confluence of the Snake, Grey's and Salt Rivers which come together to form Palisades Resevoir on the WY/ID boarder.

We have great fishing/hunting/rafting/snow machning etc right here as well as other famous fishing waters within 1/2 hour (South Fork of the Snake) to 2 1/2 hours (Henrys Fork, "The Ranch", Teton River, Hebgon Lake, the Madison, Yellowstone,West Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park or in the other direction, the Green and New Fork Rivers.

If your headed this way, holler!

Those are about 1/2 the classic US trout waters and all in one region. Carumba. If you guys had salmon and our 24-32" rainbows, no one would ever come to Alaska. Well...I'm exaggerating but that's a great selection of trout water! clap

Sounds fantastic. I think thats the area where the Pitts airplane is or was made - always wanted to see that factory.

Oooh, that would be more dangerous than me walking into Holland and Holand ... provided I had the jack to do the damage.

I would walk out of there with a Pitts and a Husky. After all, one needs both to stay entertained.
