I'm having a good friend of mine make me a pedestal mount for my kudu and thought you might like some of the work he has done for some of my buddies. He just started making these last years for some of our friends.

very nice! I have a customer woodworker (my father-in-law) do my pedestals. The deal is simple, I pay for the rough cut lumber, mesquite in this case, and he does all the work. He does true raised panels.

I have a low square one for Cape Buffalo and a tall octagonal for my sons Gemsbok.

I really like pedestals. I like the tall slender version more than the big block type but each species requires a different pedestal as well and I have not had a chance for a buff yet.
