I'm having a good friend of mine make me a pedestal mount for my kudu and thought you might like some of the work he has done for some of my buddies. very nice! I have a customer woodworker (my father-in-law) do my pedestals. The deal is simple, I pay for the rough cut lumber, mesquite in this case, and he does all the work. He does true raised panels. I have a low square one for Cape Buffalo and a tall octagonal for my sons Gemsbok. I really like pedestals. I like the tall slender version more than the big block type but each species requires a different pedestal as well and I have not had a chance for a buff yet. | |||
