Does anyone know of any software 3d that will show what your wall will look like with your taxidermy mounted?

There are programs that you can build and design a room and place furniture ect...

I was wondering if anyone has taken the program to another step where one can select their mount and place their mounts on the wall.

A program like this I think would be beneficial in determining where to place things in the room or even deermining how big a room you will need in the future based upon your wish list.

This would be awesome, however would never be profitable...and it would be very difficult to develop but we can dream!

For basic layouts, I often manipulate an Excel spreadsheet. It ain't great, but it helps me figure my layouts before I start putting holes in the walls.

I cant see that be to hard, just go into a place that sells kitchens etc and ask the them to draw up your room in the computer (3D). After that it should be no problem to calculate how big a lifesize béar / kudu etc is ?

A.Dahlgren, I was hoping to take it the next step further so you could use the computer to place a white tail here, mule deer here.... and move them around to see what is best.

Secondly, you could hypothetically lay out what trophies I plan to take and automatically place them and determine optimum placement in the room as well as how large a room you will need.

What background colors of the wall would enhance the trophies.

Maybe I will make some time and call some folks to see how I could do make it happen.

Singleshot, I actually thought about your question yesterday. When I was at Wal-Mart, I looked at a $40 software package that does 3d exterior, interior and landscaping for homes. It allows you to change wall colors, materials and if I read the package correctly, you can make your own "icons" to place in the view. So if you added pictures of your mounts, you might be able to layout your trophy room on the computer.

And what the heck, it's only $40....
