Any Body need some real Alaskan Art for Trophy room?

I was just wondering if any one need any real Alaskan stuff for there Trophy rooms.A friend who is a Alaska Native has some of the best stuff I have ever seen .Her web site is alliehigh.com I am decking out my bed and breakfast and Trophy room very Alaskanie .I put 12 foot ceilings in my room that I am building.I just hope I didnt put too many windows.I wanted a good view and lots of space.I am thinking of putting bear rugs on the ceilings vs the walls.I am not all sure on that one yet.Its a 34 x 16 foot room with 12 foot walls and ceilings.I might hag a old dog sled in the top and a few other things.I NEED TO MOUNT SOME Grouse a ptarmigan too.I have some skins .I am in need of tin bird hunting signs they are very hard to find.I just want it to look rustic and old Alaskan.I need some traps and a bear trap too.Any body else with Alaskan ideas tell me I am looking for the real stuff not made in chinia.

I am going to try to attempt to make a birch bark canoe with a friend that knows how to make them.I had a Alaskan sled from the 1890 but it got stolen .I know where a frew more are.I have lots of old snowshoes too.

Very cool! You wouldn't want to ship one of those sleds to WI now would you? LOL I have a old wooden duck skiff I'm going to hang on my living room wall when I get enough ambition to do it.

I saw an old birch bark canoe in Pennsylvania a couple of years ago. This was an old one in an antique store. The price was way up there.


Keep yer powder dry and yer knife sharp.

How about a prop from an old airplane, walrus skull with tusk, old climbing gear, some gold pans or mining gear. Don't forget to put a bookcase in there with some good old Alaskan books too.There's all kinds of stuff you could use to make your Alaskan room.

Yep I have all of Russell Annabels old books plus lots of others.I have lots of sheds too.I am thinking of a moose schandleer alsot the ceiling to be covered.I will look around for more old sleds .Yep I forgot about old airplane stuff.I have to make a mountain goat rug.I have not seen one done but think it would be so cool.I have lots of furs too.I just hope my big windows dont mess up my space too much.I know I will need another trophy room one day.I want my place to be one of the most Alaskanie places that any of my vistors from around the world might see.I will probally have antler door handles also.
