It's small and it's a bit crowded, but it's all mine!
Thought y'all might enjoy a few pics of my trophy room/office after I have done some re-arranging this week. I still have a few things to do like adding a book case under the sheep mounts against the wall. I have several books to display.
Hope y'all enjoy Big Grin

Very Nice!
That whitetail pedestal on the rocks is very nice. Where did you take him, and what did he score?

Thanks for the wonderful comments folks!
Dr.C, the buck was taken in Kansas. Like all the other cridders, he was taken by bow. He is a ten point frame with symetrical kickers off of each G2 and each G3 giving him 14 scorable points. He netted 168 0/8 Non-Typ. He grossed around 175 or so???
The buck above him scores better. He is off the same farm in Kansas, taken the year before. He has a busted off G1 that kept in out of the 180's.Frowner He nets 176 4/8 Typ. His G2's and 3's are 14 inches. The angle of the photo does not due him justice.
Thanks again!

VERY NICE!

HEY! I HAVE A ROOM KINDA LIKE THIS! When I moved to Cairo, I sold my house in Arizona. This meant that all of my taxidermy had to be consolidated into a room in my aunt's home (she is a very kind woman). I'll try to post photos.

Best,

Nice and Cozy. Is that some darker phase mouflon above the blesbok? It's very nice looking. It looks like soon you'll be needing a bigger trophy room.

You have some tremedus trophy's there that any hunter would be proud of...

Out of curiosity how big is the room and how high is the ceiling?

Regards,

Pete

Pete E, THANKS! I am very proud to have taken all with a bow.
The room is a standard 8 ft ceiling and is about 12 X 10 feet.

I know what you mean Dr.C!! Smiler
I do feel in the minority around here.
I dont have any problems with "Thunder Sticks", I just love bowhunting???
Although I would have a problem with a guide or PH shooting an animal with his gun right after I shot it with my bow, I would not pass up shooting some animals with a gun.
One of the first questions I had of the two PH's I was talking to before my first bow hunt in RSA was..... "If I am into day 7 or 8 of my 10 day BOW hunt, and I have not gotten a shot, do you have a rifle I can use for the rest of my hunt?"
I figures I did not want to travel that far and spend that much cash and time and come back empty handed.
I may be proud, but I aint stupid! Smiler

That looks good, may have to think about expanding in to the rest of the house now. Smiler

Of course I'm not allowed to by she who must be obeyed, I'm limited to dead animals in my study only.

Thanks again folks!
blackbearhunter, I shot my bear in south central Colorado. It was a self hunt with 10 bowhunters in camp. We took 2 bull elk and 6 bears on that trip.
All the bear were spot and stalk.
It was my first bear hunt and was all I had hoped for. The best part was my son was standing next to me when I shot.
I had spotted the bear at the edge of a clear cut about 175 yards away, as the sun was setting.
We had the wind and the last 75 yards of the stalk went fast because of the logging road we hit. As we stood next to a large aspen, I saw the bear 30 yards in the overgrowth. I nocked an arrow and peaked around the tree trying to find the bear. A few seconds later, he busted out on to the road and started walking right at us!! As I anchord, he stopped and looked UP at us. When he turned to run off, I released. He was 6 steps!!! I had a pass thru taking both lungs. He fell 30 yards away.
I was shooting a Mathews Conquest at 56 pounds with fingers and 2117 shafts with a Satilite Titan broadhead.
He was skinny and went 190 pounds. We had to check the bears in and the game warden estimated that he would have weighed 225 in a good year.

bo, You've got beautiful mounts there. Now, you have to tell me who did that Bobcat pedestal for you. From the photos the work on that cat really caught my eye.

If all goes well, I'll need a Lion done in a couple years (the hunt is already booked), and I want that kind of quality. Thanks.

The pedestal Kudu gives me some ideas for what to do with my own since I don't have any high ceilings. Thanks for showing your trophies to us.
