Bronzing a skull

Anyone thought or have done a skull that's been bronzed?

I've seen some sheep skulls bronzed but the horns were still in their natural state and thought it looked pretty good.

Something more for a bookshelf or a stand than a pedestal on the wall.

Yep. I have a 140 inch whitetail skull that a friend bronzed. He was just playing with the thought of starting a business and did mine for me as practice. It turned out looking really great.

It's not the greatest picture, but it might give you an idea of what a bronzed skull looks like.

Shof, cool looking deer.

Ultra, man, what can I say. I like the bronzing but IMO the bronzing should be for the skull only. Teeth, tusks and antlers should be natural. Just my opinion.

IDE,

I have others these were done as a tryout. The canines were supposed to be high polished but when I got them back that's how I got um. I was BUMMED but I just left it be.

Ide,
Have had Pat at Skulls Taxidermy do a number of deer skulls, and getting ready to send him a warthog and a Kudu skull. Really like his stuff. Just dont like the stark white of the skull. Give Pat a call if you have questions.

He currently has mine and my wifes elk from this past fall.
