Remember the post by Ann on 8'ceilings? Here are mine with the same ceiling. I was playing around with a new flash: Nikon SB600 on a relatively old N-Coolpix5000. I made use of pedestals and low-hanging mounts. Hope I post pics correctly.

Got all my pictures posted finally. Hope all enjoy. With pedestals and low hanging mounts this can be done nicely.

Nice mounts...let's see some pictures that give us a view of the entire wall/room so that we can get a sense of the set up

I have found that pedistal mounts work great with large animals, long horns or, antlers and 8' ceilings. I think it tends to make them more a part of the room instead of an intrusion into the room!

First you stun me with the waterbuck then slay me with the kudu. I hunt with and use as a taxidermist Harry Whitehead in Lexington. Know him?

madabula, that's either a very interesting painting above your TV or there is a Zebra sneaking up on your 5:00!

Thanks again! He's another of my favorites! (sort of like my kids which ever one is present or we are talking about it my favorite!)

I have known Harry for about 24 years! We taught each other all we know! Tell him I said hello! "Mike Ohlmann"

Willys .450 I hope you get to go soon! I've been twice yet at 50 yrs old I'm realizing one must should make oneself do things you want to do as soon as possible. The time won't come on it's own==you got to make it happen. My gratitude to you for your enthusiasm and service to our country.
