Remember the post by Ann on 8'ceilings? Here are mine with the same ceiling. I was playing around with a new flash: Nikon SB600 on a relatively old N-Coolpix5000. I made use of pedestals and low-hanging mounts. Hope I post pics correctly.

Got all my pictures posted finally. Hope all enjoy. With pedestals and low hanging mounts this can be done nicely.

Nice mounts...let's see some pictures that give us a view of the entire wall/room so that we can get a sense of the set up

Cool, I like your eland especially but many of the others give me some ideas.

I have found that pedistal mounts work great with large animals,long horns or, antlers and 8' ceilings. I think it tends to make them more a part of the room instead of an intrusion into the room!
