I recently drove up to Reno to pick up my african trophies after a two year wait. All were hunted with Peter Chipman and Sarge in September of 2005.

The work was done by Animal Artistry, and it is beautiful - especially the buffalo. I cannot be more pleased.

As for the trophy room, this is the first taxidermy in my home. And even though my wife was on board, I had a lot of anxiety about where to put everything. A friend and I spent a few hours measuring, looking for studs, and generally exhausting every possible location and layout. The buffalo was obviously the biggest challenge. In the end, all 5 trophies ended up in our small living room. Again, I could not have imagined it all coming together as well as it did.

The buffalo is absolutely the best buff mount I have ever seen. I requested poses without knowing where each animal would go, and I'm so glad I had them put a turn in the buff along with the low head. It really allowed me to tuck him up in the corner of the room.

Amazingly, the room is exactly as it was prior to the trophies coming home. Not a single piece of furniture or art had to be moved or removed.

Well, suffice it to say, I am very happy with the results. Thanks for letting me share.

Looks like you did very well and it's good that you love the buff. Taxidermy and shipping is the part of the hunt that makes me nervous!

So, what does your wife say now that it's all there? My wife doesn't care if I hunt she just doesn't like the taxidermy. I'm working on that...

Sorry guys. Number 5 is a set of warthog tusks. They're on the tower in the right hand corner. I still need to work out a more appropriate display for them. I decided to spare my wife a shoulder mount of the warty.

My wife advertised me: No taxidermy at home !!!
I said (No just a macho answer!!!) ; you get married with a hunter, you know that from the begining (Before come in at the church) so the house door is open !!!
For other side you can say; No more deahts flowers inside glass vases.

A friend of mine Say...My wife really like the stick!!! I not by far, but we live together very happy with this matter !!!! animal
