If you ever visit Vermont the Shelburne Museum is worth a stop. Shelburne Museum One of the exhibits is the Boone and Crockett collection shown below. The Webb's trophies date from the 30's through the 50's and are real nice. It looked like these were all from Alaska and Yukon Territory. I changed this one to B&W for the effect. The bear on the right had the largest skull. Some of the capes looked newer but many were original. This is a very impressive collection. Other interesting sporting exhibits include a huge collection of wildfowl decoys and many punt guns and other firearms. ~Ann

Besides the fantastic trophys the trophy room itself is perfect in proportion and materials. Thanks Ann ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS Into my heart on air that kills From yon far country blows: What are those blue remembered hills, What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went And cannot come again. A. E. Housman
