I've seen some neat bars in some of these pics on the forum. It reminded me of a bar my buddy got his pic taken at on Bagram Airbase. If I remember correctly, the CIA ran it.

Reminds me of our EOD/Proj 404 bar in SeA nearly 40 yrs ago. Any butt prints on the ceiling?

Maybe not if you have seen what is under "some" of those Burka's...

My friend was military intelligence at the time. The different plainclothes guys over there would pull him along into ventures outside the base to "talk" with people. They would make him set in the truck to ensure no one planted a bomb underneath it while they were inside "talking" to folks.

thats funny you mention that, but some of my arab friends (women) will wear 5 or 10k worth of clothing underneath... its pretty insane, but some really dress up underneath.....

Like a friend told me once when we were talking about ladies passing by a little street cafe in Nuremburg/Furth: "Man, it ought to be against the law to tarp a load like that..."
