Here are a few pictures of my trophy room. I'm on a budget so I went the european mount way. I'm still waiting for my wildebeest and warthog. Eventually, I'd like to get my kudu, gemsbok, and wildebeest done in full shoulder mounts.

The skull mounts look very nice. Did you get them done in Africa?

Good job! I like the choice of wall color, really shows of the horns!

What did you do with the bear skin?

Ditto on the wall color. Really brings out the horns.

I also think the picture of the animal is a very nice addition to the skull. Sort of brings the animal to life. It shows what that skull came from, the terrain where it was shot etc. Very nice touch.

Thank you for the comments! I picked the flat brown color because it seemed pretty natural and earthy.

I got the european mounts done here in Oregon by a guy named Rick Leach (Trophy Taxidermy). He's an excellent taxidermist for African game. He's done well over 500 African animals.

I shot the bear while I was living in a native fishing village in Alaska. I gave the skin to a native woodcarver who had spent much time throughout the year teaching me to carve traditional fishhooks and masks. He uses the skins for his artwork.

That is one of the classiest looking trophy rooms i have seen. Really like the framed pics and the way the skulls look against the wall. Great job and great hunting!
