I don't have a trophy room per se, and I don't have the budget to accomodate the taxidermy I'd like to have, but here are a few mounts that I do have, which may be of interest.... My first Stone Sheep... My second Stone, and first dream come true.... A curio cabinet with a few skulls and my best whitetail to-date. The skull on the top is a Mt Goat. The skull in the middle is a baboon, which was given to me by Richard Powell after his trip to Namibia last year. The skull on the bottom (kinda hard to see) is a steinbok from my trip to RSA in 2002. Finally, a couple of log rocking chairs with goat hides... I also have a bear rug and a tanned bison hide on the floor, in what my fiance has finally conceded will become the "Carcass Room" as she calls it. My trophies from Africa are presently leaned against the wall in there. I have a zebra hide in for tanning, and plan to pick away at getting the rest mounted at a rate of about 1 a year. Its not much, but its a start, eh? Cheers, Canuck | ||
