Our home... barn & stables to the east.

Entering the foyer... looking left.

... looking right into the wife's Parlor, no taxidermy in there.

Walking underneath the catwalk entering the den...

Looking right in the den...

Looking left in the den...

Looking back to the right...

Bow kill Nyala & Gemsbuck...

My favorite chair with some totem poles that I carved. On the wall are three watercolor paintings of flowers, these were painted by my Mother and the picture frames were made by my Grandfather. The window pass-thru goes into the kitchen.

Looking out back on the deck. You can see my fish pond (bass & bluegill) at the back of the property.

My first Pope & Young whitetail (139 4/8"), killed on this farm.

My best whitetail, another bow kill (170 4/8 Pope & Young)... also killed on this farm.

Utah mule deer...

Colorado bull elk, bow kill...

Looking back toward the catwalk & front door...

Upstairs on the catwalk...

Zebra rug by Jerry Huffacker...

Wyoming pronghorn antelope...

Lots of American Indian artifacts around this area.

... used some points to adorn the tile in a half bath off of the foyer, underneath the catwalk.

Dancing horse sticks that I carved & crafted.

Off of the den is my study... lots of Alabama and Tennessee whitetail racks and turkey beards & spurs, along with a bunch of turkey calls and awards I have won making decorative turkey calls.

Pope & Young eight point (129 1/8")... another one killed on this farm!

... and last is the GhostBird Cantina sign that I carved & painted. It hangs on the back wall of my study, which is the backside of the stone fireplace.

Thanks for looking... I hope you enjoyed the tour.

Very nice Ghostbird………… tasteful and pleasing to the eye. I see some 'trophy rooms' that are over the top and feel more like a museum than someones home…….. yours is a place one would feel comfortable in.

Those Tom Turkey beards are cool. Most of mine were destroyed by a dog or lost. Very classy with all the rest.

Lovely place. Question on the Sports Afield magazine (or cover) in frame? What year is it and does it hold a special memory?

I remember looking though a lot of old hunting magazines and catalogs my father had. Most of them were published before I was born. We're just about to move into our first home and love your idea.

Very nice spread, but no surprise as Andy excels in all that he does.

He is one of the foremost exhibition grade turkey call makers in the world.

He is one of the top turkey hunters in the state, in several states, in fact.

He is an accomplished pen and pencil artist.

He is a helluva good woodworker.

He's a cunning archery hunter.

He's smart.

He has a nice house and farm.

He probably has a good looking wife and family too.

He's an Auburn Tiger.

I hate Andy. Wink

Highlander7, the Sports Afield magazine is from 1958, the year I was born, and it has a hunter & a wild turkey on the cover. I just thought it was cool. The entire magazine is in the frame. It is really neat that there was a lot of great artwork on magazine covers back then.

Here are couple more photos of the exterior.

Ghostbird,

Really like the exterior - wrap around poach, raised deck in the back, separate covered garage.

Very nice.

Can I just come for a vacation?

Really beautiful in all aspects I love the use of the arrow heads in the bathroom and the carved totem poles. We go looking for arrowheads around our neck of the woods. don't have the finds you have though.
