Nice looking room, the log sides and ceiling are not something you see each day. The pile of horns in the corner is also cool. How many years worth are laying there? I think I can see at least 4 skulls/skullplates.

If I had that many antlers lying around... well... I'd have that many antlers lying around. The log cabin gives it a nice hunting lodge feel. Looks very warm, a good place to sit and relive each hunt. Very nice.

SBT,

Below is what each link should like WITHOUT the astericks before you hit CONTINUE. To use it in a message here, click IMAGE below the message composition box, then paste the link into the pop-up line. Be sure not to duplicate the http:// part. If you right click on the image and select PROPERTIES, you will see the proper link. -TONY

SBT,

You included a period at the end of every link. Thus they don't end in the required "jpg" ONLY extension. Other than that, they are perfect.

You can fix those links by editing your message and deleting the periods. TONY

SnakeLover,

I'd guess there are about 22 years worth of antlers there, but I've concentrated on only trophy deer for the last 10 years or so. Rarely shoot one anymore. Each of the racks you see would have skull plates, but most can't be distinguished. There are also a couple of small elk racks in there and a caribou rack in the back that can't be seen.

I am really jealous. The log walls and roof are a very nice touch. Makes it seem like they belong there.

I have hunted just across Jackson Pass from you many times. My dad was born and raised in Victor and took me hunting and fishing there all while growing up. I hate to see all the trophy homes turning up in Victor. The old family farm where I shoy my first black bear is now becoming a fancy golf course surronded by monster homes. I havent been there in 4 years and dont know if I want to go back and see that.

HI,

Hell yes,the mounts are great, but I really love you place. I will build myself a log home and I just think you have a great place and the mounts are not bad either,Kev

SBT, great house and trophies.

Since I'm in the business of roofing and notice your trophies are upstairs, I have a few questions.

I notice the ceiling boards are run vertically so I wonder what type of roofing is on the house. Also it appears that the chinking was a time comsuming job...nice work.

With no obvious venting, doesn't it get very hot up there in the summer? How do you keep it cool?

I know nothing about roofing, but I have asphalt shingles. Ventalation hasn't been a problem at all. Most of the trophies are in the loft which is open to the living room below. There is a ceiling fan in the livingroom and another in the loft. There is also a window in the loft which is usually open.
