Great looking Buff and nice pose for the bushbuck.

However, is it my imagination, or has that buck been ingesting some Enzyte? Razzer

OK George. Time to get them critters into the hunting room and share a few pics. I can't raise my glass to a box.

That said, I really like that bushbuck. Very classy !!!

Here's my first attempt. This is the far wall of my modest trophy room. It was taken with one of those phone cameras. I copied the bushbuck's pose from the back of African hunter magazine and credit to Taxidermy Enterprises in Bulawayo. jorge

PS: the "recepticle" holding the porcupine quills used to belong to the buffalo. He used it to hold something else Smiler

Jorge,

I really like the pose on your bushbuck. Makes me wish even more that I would have spent the extra $$$ to do a full body mount on mine rather than the shoulder mount.

Jorge - I'm a student. A little odd as I'm an AF officer...but also went to the Army's Command and General Staff College a few years back.

Back to your buff. Can you spin us a tale?

In Colorado we used to call it a "Bully-Pully" if you put a drawstring on the opening.

There's nothing like a cape buffalo head and shoulder mount (or two) to round out one's home or office decor. thumb

Yours is a nice one, jorge.

Very nice Buffalo and Bushbuck, Jorge. The Bushbuck looks very "alert", like he will jump up and dive into the brush any second.

I am jelous that you just got your buf and bb back from Bulawayo and mine are still there in a mire of Zimbabwe red tape.

Jorge,

Great mounts! I really like the bushbuck. I was planning on doing a standing full body mount if I manage to get one in Zim next year, but your mount has given me something to think about.

Nice job on the full mount bushbuck- you solved the issue of space in your trophy placement!

How long did you wait for them? Does Mrs. Jorge approve (trophies are a bit if an issue in our home)?

Shootaway,

Here's a web page that might come in handy. The book is an excellent read, and by all means you certainly could use some of the suggestions contained within it. -TONY
