I have reached an age where I am trying to downsize my living arrangements and have thought about selling my trophies. Does anyone know of any organizations that buys them? I have also thought about donating some. I have several full mounts as well. I intend to continue to hunt as much as I am able, but no longer for trophies, just for the sheer joy of being out there, and the meat, always the meat. Contact Bass Pro Shops and Cabelas. as I understand, they are always looking for more trophies to put in new stores as they open them. THE LUCKIEST HUNTER ALIVE!

Isn't there an ad in the SCI magazine or FNAWS about how your mounts can be used to finance future hunts? Donating them to musea, and getting tax credits for it? Something like that. If I come across it any time soon I'll post more details... Frans

These guys do the estimates for tax deductions and appraisals of trophies. A friend recently used them to pay for another hunt. http://www.taxidermyappraisals.com/
