I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who post photo's of some of your must prized and personal possessions. I truly enjoy seeing everyone's Trophy Rooms. I know you all pour your heart and soul into this passion we all have. The time, aggravation, physical torment, and expense of this hobby is staggering and not for the faint of heart, but it is also incredibly rewarding. I am sure most of you are like me. Everytime I see the Whitetail I took when a was a kid, it takes me back to the excitement of that day. The same goes for my bear hunt in Maine, I can in my mind still smell the pine from the day I took it. The same with my first Boar. I know the memories of you guys' adventures will live on long after your rifles are retired. I so look forward to going on Safari. Thanks Again and Good Hunting, H4L

So true, my office is also my trophy room and during the trying times I can just take 5 sit back at my desk look around and remember all the great times represented by the trophies on the walls. At times it helps me keep on the level.

Hear, hear! I could not agree more. Happy new year! Martin ----------------------- A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition. - R. Kipling

H4L, Your comment about the memories is one reason why I had my *first* mule & Coues deer, javelina & pronghorn mounted, even though none of them were outstanding heads. I killed them all in the 1960s and can still remember the details of each of those hunts. That's pretty good for me since my wife often tells me I'm getting senile. -TONY Tony Mandile - Author "How To Hunt Coues Deer"
