Try this link. He has a couple of more examples on his web page, but this is my favorite.

I always find it easier to just go to YAHOO and look under their "images" section at the top toolbar. There are over 4400 pics of Cape Buffalo to look at. Works for any animal, and the poses are of live, dead, and mounted animals.

Redfern,

First I would say is how much room do you have???
You will need at least 3 feet in height space and 4 feet of horizontal space app....
This is just the animal so this will give you size of how large and fit to space...

My favorite pose is that I owe you money look..

Redfern,

One thing I always tell my clients when they're not sure of the mount is, Do it the way it was just before you shot. EXAMPLE: My Buff was standing heading to the right, looking at me with his head turned real hard to the right and his nose up a hair, giving that (As Retreever said) "You owe me money!" stare. So I'm modifing a form so I can capture that last second before the boom! You can really remember the hunt with something you can relate to.

I'm also doing a pedestal mount on him

Here's mine.
He was supposed to be staight although he ended up with slightly left. Not a big one but he sure fills up the office and is quite a conversation piece. Most common question "What is THAT?"

There is a series of books from Safari Press called "Great Hunters". They are filled with pictures of different trophy rooms. You will find a picture of almost every huntable animal mounted in many different poses. There are a lot of animals from old trophy rooms no longer huntable too. There are four volumes.

Can someone (anyone?) tell me why I see the URL code and a picture that says "Photo Not Available, cupidfish.com" instead of KINO's intended photo?
Thanks
Dave

He probably deleted the photo from his photobucket.
