With my mule deer on the wall the corner of my office is not starting to look like a trophy room.

My wife gave me this boar sculpture for my birthday, it's a copy of the one in Florence which I thought was so cool when we were in italy last year. And a couple of boar skulls.

When my elk comes the mule deer will need to move over. Have a couple blacktails on the way too and am hitting Colorado for antelope next month. Will need a bigger office soon!

Very nice.

Where did the boar above the bow come from? That is one good looking boar.

Hey DTala,

The boar is what started this whole compulsion of mine. He is from Parkfield, Ca taken in January of 2002 with Kyler Hamann. Kyler is to blame for all of this Smiler

I also took my first two deer with him in A zone. The one on the far right is my second deer. I always have a great time hunting with Kyler.

That's the one Tony! Wes took him to Jonas and I have to say I'm very pleased with him! I hope to send an antelope their way in October.

Looking at my wall I see I don't have a Coues deer so I am buying your book. I love reading about hunting however I already know how to hunt Coues deer. Like everything else I write someone that knows how to hunt a check Smiler

-Sean

I'm going for blacktails again at the end of the month and am hoping to hang my tag on this guy:

One of these days, I'd like to hunt BTs in N. Cal again. That's neat country. I killed a decent one east of Eureka way back in the mid-1980s.

Are you hunting 'lopes with Wes? -TONY

P.S. Paypal notification for the book just arrived. I'll try to get it out tomorrow afternoon. Thanks!

Hey Sean,

I guess I've been blamed for worse. Wink

The room is looking great. You've got a really nice collection.

My dirty secret is that I still haven't mounted a boar from one of my own hunts for my wall.

A week ago I had a client from up in your area take a nice buck near where you took your boar. He was one of 6 bucks we saw in that canyon. The feed has been so short that the deer are really out now that the acorns are falling.

Best of luck on your upcoming hunts,
Kyler

Predator,

That skull is actually bronzed using a process from Skull Taxidermy, it's metallized... is what they call it. I really like it. They have different metal finishes you can do. Check out their web site:

Skull Taxidermy

I really like how it turned out.

thanks,

Sean
