Great room. I look forward to seeing some of the animals you took at Kanana last year.

LittleJoeTom, I will be very excited to get my Kanana trophies home at some point. What an incredible safari. I cannot wait to display the treasures of that safari. Still dreaming of that time there. What a safari!!!

My biggest moose. Taken with Rogue River Outfitters.
I also shot two wolves on that trip. Incredible. I will have to post those pics later, I life sized both and changing the base they are on so I will post new pics when I have them back.
They are much bigger than I would have expected. Much longer than I would figure. I can truly see why they are such a killing machine.

Use Enough GunGreat looking basement!

AnotherAZWriterI have a dedicated TR now but I used to put mine in the basement when I had a house in MN. Basements work great and IMO are better than strewing stuff all over the house. Sure, the ceilings aren't tall, but so what? Tall ceilings don't work for small stuff anyway.

I am excited to be adding some Botswana stuff when it gets home. Not sure where I will put them but that is a good problem to have.

Justin, congratulations on an awesome bunch of memories! I don't know if you mentioned it already, but who does your taxidermy? One bloke in the USA? Or various? Africa? Our Blaauwkrantz trophies are about to leave RSA for Perth!
Beautiful....and very well done! A wonderful collection of memories. I have looked at your collection a number of times and am sure to return. Thanks for sharing.

boarkillerDude, incredible.
Love the trophies, juts needs some windows and some wood paneling to break the white walls.
And a bottle of good gin.

When I'm ready to go, pack a bag of gunpowder up my ass and strike a fire to my pecker, until I squeal like a boar.

octaveJust a great basement,I especially like that Rocky Mountain Goat.
short and fat and hard to get at, hit like a hammer and never been hit back.

LittleJoeThanks for the comments. There are two windows and only that many on purpose.
I wanted to keep the room cool and dark.
I installed lots of can lights and it will light up like a Christmas tree when needed.

Just added these. Wanted them on a tall base so people could look them in the face. My wife says they look evil.

steelWhy do you say that is the last bison you would take?
03 September 2013, 21:18
LittleJoeI have so many other things I want to hunt and the odds of drawing a tag in the Henry Mtns is slim to none and I am not willing to spend the $$$$ for a wood bison when I can go to Africa for that type of money.
