The picture of the leopard attacking the impala looks exactly like one I saw in Jonas Bros in Colorado a few years back. Anyone know the backstory of the pic? BH63 Hunting buff is better than sex!

It might be the same. I have to ask Alan who did it, but I think it was them. Both were shot in Tanzania by myself with Alan Vincent. The taxidermy was done extremely well, they should be proud of their job.

I’ve always had good luck with Jonas. They used to be located about 4 miles from where I live. Beautiful trophies at any rate. Congratulations. BH63 Hunting buff is better than sex!

Truly an amazing display Saeed. I don't think I've seen a bigger Impala anywhere. Congratulations Sir.

A funny side to this story. The leopard was shot earlier in the safari. And the morning I shot this impala, we waited the truck to have a drink while the trackers gutted it. It was in the morning, a bit cloudy, and suddenly a young leopard walks right next to us. He sat about 20 yards from us watching all the proceedings! He was not bothered with us at all.

Saeed, it is happenings, like that, that make hunting a real dream to remember for a life time! Some of the things hunters see in the field are not believed when told to non-hunters! This a great story Saeed. ……………………………………………………….Mac ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith
