If you want 2000, stay away from the pistol powders. Check the manuals first, of course, but a case FULL of a slow burner like one of the 4831s, or a reduced charge of a medium like 3031 or 4895 should do what you want safely. Depending on the case you are loading, the case full of 4831 may give higher velocity than you want.
