--warning-- internet load data, do NO use.. this is the SLOW wc852, NOT the "F"

here's some fun shooting... using pat's reloading "wc852 -- slower than h414" and brother, it is, and my 500 jeffe, with a 22" barrel

wayne doudna made me some cast 530gr GC HARD cast, with LBT

I set them up at 3.45", heavy crimp

100 gr-- test load (would have worked with faster powder, but wanted to SEE effect)

115gr ~2025fps

120gr ~2130fps

126gr ~2200fps exactly and a great practice load.

No sign of leading, and ~1.5" at 25 yards... i think that was me, as the gun will shoot 1/2 that or better

bertram brass, fed 215 primers,

anyway, I am happy with it.. I've got a load, with milsurp powder, that is cheaper to shoot per round than just the RL15 that I prefer.

it's ready to hunt, and will in a month or so.

If I didn't have all the hazmat fees and hassles shipping to AK, I'd get some milsurp powder, but since I do have those hassles, I'd need to order at least 12 8# kegs of milsurp to make the shipping reasonable, and thats way more powder then I want to keep on hand, well, if I could afford it, I'd probably order it [Big Grin]

Paul,
i got 2 kegs (one for me, one for mike) and it was $10.12 a pound.. 81 bucks a keg, from pats. Since it's virgin powder, I was a little happier about it... beats 23$ for rl15.
