Anybody here make their own lead shot? I am getting pretty heavy in to shotgunning and am looking for ways to reduce the cost or my reloads. I saw a little unit called a Littleton's Incredible Shotmaker. Problem is this thing is $400. It would take over 600 pounds of free lead made in to shot to recover the cost of this thing. And that is at the $16 that Bass Pro has for bagged shot. If you shop around and find it cheaper it would take even more. Anybody have any ideas for a cheaper way of doing this? I already have a couple hundred pounds of wheelweights and will begin scrounging more if I can get a satisfactory method of making shot. By the way shot size will be either 8 or 7 1/2.
