Folks, I have been working on this spreadsheet that easily tells me the percentage of lead, tin, and antimony in my alloys and helps me judge what the cost per pound of a given alloy is to determine make/buy on a per alloy basis. If any of you have a desire - grab it here: http://www.4shared.com/file/6848132/50be5e87/AlloyCalc.html And please let me know if you find any errors or any other comments that can make it better. Simply enter the price per lbs you currently pay for each component and the weight of each component being used in the gray boxes - the final percentages and costs are calculated in yellow. | ||
