Hi Guys
Anyone out there have a favorite mold/bullet for the 218 Bee? I'm thinking turkey load, 100 yard shooting. Would appreciate any info/load data/casting tips.

I cannot answer you directly but might be able to give some pointers, so,... firstly, cast bullets tend to be flat tipped or round nosed so the world should be at your feet there. As for turkeys, well, I have shot them with pretty hot hornet loads using 55gr Hornady SP's and Sierra 55gr SMP's and my finding is that very little meat damage occurs even when the breast muscles are hit. The best shot seems to be between the drumsticks (which I have found to be inedible anyway), and the breast muscle.

Velocity is going to be limited by the lead, so heavy will likely give more range and power.

Good luck!
