My newest bullet mould I bought and tested. Load was 45grs of IMR-4198, 330grs soft alloy, OAL 64mm. Fired at 50m with my beloved High Wall with 6x Swaro scope. Martin

Martin Looks like your bullets and powder charge came together, well. Jim "Whensoever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force." --Thomas Jefferson

Very nice, you can't count out the lighter boolits in the 45-70. I like 4759 in my BFR revolver with all boolits. My 317 and 330 gr boolits get about the same velocity from my 10" barrel as you are getting. Here are my average groups at 50 yd's. I used a variety of boolits. The one center group while sighting in was 7/16" for 5 shots.
