I was wondering if anyone knows what I should add to pure lead to make #2 alloy. I have some pure lead "jumper" used to connect batteries in series in substations. I currently use wheelweight but want to put this stuff to use. Thanks, Lucio in S.A. the nut behind the butt makes the difference

#2 alloy is 90% lead 5% tin, 5% antimony. 4# Linotype 1# 50/50 bar solder 5# pure lead or 9# wheelweights 1# 50/50 bar solder Either of the above makes 10lbs of #2 alloy
