Hello Mr. W30WCF- I think we may be giving consideration to two different ends of the bullet as we discuss case length. In your comment - you address the issue of COAL - potentially going too long if the brass runs long with a max length bullet nose. At the other end - I'm concerned about bullet body protruding below the case neck when the brass runs short. If brass is somewhat uniform - it's no problem. My observations of late have been with .38-55 & .25-20 brass. New WW brass goes .050" shorter than max length. I'm not sure they'll ever grow that much. Best regards- Sky C. | ||
