I just got done melting down a big bucket of wheelweights, cleaning the dirt and steel mounting clips out of the metal and casting it in nice neat, clean ingots for later use in casting bullets. Callie, my calico buddy, sat nearby and kept me company as she always does when I work outside.

I'm gonna cast some boolits after supper, to which I just got called!

Right now, probably the .30-06 (Lee 113 grain "soup cans" in the new 6-holer custom mould and a 309-130-F I bought off Lee's surplus page) and .45-70 (the 457-325-F that likewise came from the surplus page.) I cast for .44 Special and Magnum with several bullets, .38 Special and for the .45 ACP, too. I've got a lot of bullets made up for those pistol cartridges already that I need to shoot up. Might make some more of the Lee 429-214-1R for the .44 Special, though. A few nights ago, I tried casting conical bullets in the mainly decorative brass mould that came cased with my Italian Colt Walker replica some 24 years ago. It was a pain and I probably won't do that again, but I got some usable bullets to go shoot.
