I have a close friend who just moved from Battleground, Washington to the Manassas (SP?), Virginia area.

One of the things he took with him is an even ton of linotype (company-paid move).

He has now moved that lino from AZ to TX, to WA, to VA. He is tired of lugging it around.

If there are any CB shooters in the Virginia area who are interested in talking to him about buyng any or all of it, please send me a private message with your contact info. I will forward it to him, and have him get in touch with you. The two (or more) of you can arange delivery and price.

I'm interested in at least talking about buying some of that lino. 500 pounds would be about all my car will haul. I'd like to see a price on that quantity.

It sells on ebay for $0.50 - $1.00 per pound. It can be shipped in a $7.70 USPS flat rate box, assuming the ingots are small enough to pack in the box. Your friend could make enough to buy himself a nice Christmas present.

If you guys agreed on a deal, I'm pretty sure he'd be able to deliver most bulk purchases within 50 miles of Manassas.

I'm not gonna get any farther into the middle of this deal, though. As stated in my original post, anyone who is interested can give me any kind of contact info they want to provide and I'll forward it to him...mailing address (such as P.O. Box), or e-mail, or phone number (even fax number) would be fine, together with hours to make contact if by phone. Anyway, once you two (or more) are in contact, you can cut your own deals as to price, delivery, etc.

The only reason I don't give his phone number out is that he is a medical practioner and works all kinds of weird hours as required by patients....so I'm not gonna put him in a situation where he'll be awakened by phone calls when he does get a chance to sleep.

(I note one of you listed your e-mail address in your cast bullet forum post. If you want him to make contact that way, let me know and I'll forward that to him.)
