I`ve dealt with Bill Loos and his wife on several occasions at both the Rochester and Syrause gun shows. I recommend him for any mould you may be searching for, as his inventory is "fluid", and his wife Sara has most books for the advanced collector and most general interest topics on firearms. The show circuit needs more folks just like them.

What mould(s) are you looking for?? Some of us could be sitting on what you`re looking for...

... I have found that many times on ebay, the molds sell for more than you can buy a new one for... same mold, unused, and less money.... I guess it's the thrill of "winning the auction".... you also have to figure in shipping costs when you bid, so it's easy to pay too much. I think you should post what you want here, as stated before... some of us might have JUST what you want...

I've bought one good RCBS at a local gunsmith's shop for $25 and would like to find a place to buy some older Lyman or RCBS moulds that aren't made anymore. I dream of finding one at a yard sale or something but don't stop at any or flea markets. People always say check e-bay but I've never had much luck fooling with that. I guess I'm too lazy to spend that much time on a computer. Any other ideas? BM

Unfortunately good deals don't often come to folks not willing to put in the shoe leather or keyboard time to search them out.

I find mold deals are few and far between, but you come across them occasionally.

Get out the yellowpages and call the local gunshops and pawnshops to see if they have any used casting/reloading equipment.

Sometimes they will take in used casting/reloading equipment when they buy used firearms. Used moulds and reloading equipment will usually be kept in a special bin or drawer if they have it.

Bunch of other good stuff too like Dillon carbide die set for 357 Sig $20. ($100 new). Most of these places don't know what this stuff is worth..
