Hi all, UPS brought the molds today. I pulled one from the box, cleaned and cast a few tonight. They dropped at 188gns, 1.003" long The body is .314", front band .312" and nose goes from .305 to .303". I was able to get a few more molds added onto the order. I have 3 not spoken for. idahobronco@aol.com if anyone is interested.
I'll try to get them labeled and in the mail this weekend.

Okay, a little update here. I've recieved a few emails from folks that want the gas check shank fixed. I'll be calling Lee on Monday to see about sending them back. If you want your mold the way it is right now, them email me with your zipcode and I'll ship them out. The others will hopefully be going back.

Opps, I guess I forgot to post the gas check shank problem over here. I cast a few and them ran them through a .313 sizer. I could pull the gas checks off with my thumb nail by going around the base a few times. The shank was requested to be a snap on fit with Hornady 30 cal gas checks. The gas checks are a loose fit on the plain, as cast bullet.

Hi LAR! I would like to wait to see what the good folks at Lee say and what our options will be then. Is this possible or do we need to decide sooner than that? Thanks for ALL you do. Dale

Hi all, Lee said no problem and return as many as needed. They will either fix the gascheck shank or cut new ones. There is already a box of molds going back so there is no problem with sending more. It's your choice. Please respond in e-mail with zip code as to what your preference is. I have them sorted by zip code. idahobronco@aol.com

Hi Lar45. I'm L9S 2B6. I got the fat 30 the other day. Looks good. Got through customs without a hitch. Thanks very much again for your efforts in this project. Sounds as though the first ones tried are proving to be worth the effort. I hope I can return the favour one day. Ron.D
Glad it got there. It must have taken abit of time in the mail as I sent it awhile ago. On another forum, they are saying that the Gator 30 cal gaschecks hold on just fine.
