Anyone out there using this bullet in the 222? I was going through all of my molds and found one that is brand NEW, never used. I have a 225 415 and was wondering if there is any advantage in the slightly heavier bullet. Let me know of your experiences using this bullet in the 222.

That RCBS bullet plus the Lyman 225646 are your two best choices. In that 14 twist, you should shoot them at 2K or above to get that half-inch accuracy. Use pistol primers, and make sure you have the minimum neck clearance, say 0.001 total, neck turning brass when necessary if using fatter boolits. Start with the 224 sizer, and move up in boolit diameter until accuracy is acceptable. Should be around the 0.001 clearance as suggested. Seat OFF of the lands when using the pistol powders, such as: Circa 9 grains of N105, BlueDot or circa 12.5 grains N110. They have given me the best overall everyday, load-and-shoot loads with the two boolits mentioned. ... felix
