I have some cast .303 Savage and Paper patched 45-70 loads ready to try on the deer. The .303 will get the first turn Saturday. I will let everyone know how it goes, I will be home every night, I'm only going about 15 miles to the hunting spot. I've got an any deer tag and a doe tag, if I fill them I can get two more doe tags. (but I will have to buy another freezer) I'm really eager to try the paper patched loads.
