Hornady Gas Checks 50 Caliber Box of 1000 can i youse thise in my 500jeffery???

The Hornady checks are true .500,I think the Jeffery is .505 or .510 So I would say NO.

I have some Honrnady 500 gas checks for a buddies 500 S&W mold .500" dia, and I also have an LBT mold I use to cast for my 500 Jeffrey, and I size .512" for the bore. I'll have to check to see of the Hornady gas checks will work, they may be sized just large enough to be used for both the .500" and .510" bullets. Most 50 caliber molds use a very thick gas check, because I believe the first 50 cal gas checks were 1/2" freeze plugs.
