Gentlemen,

I am looking for a source that may provide me with a 0.510 die for my SAECO bullet sizer.

SAECO only makes up to 0.460 and I've deceided to make a "Big Fifty" long range rifle.

If there is someone who opens up dies or can make a one-off die of 0.510 for the SAECO machine I need to contact them right away.

Good afternoon,
Forrest

Howdy Forrest-

Hope all is well with you. A gent who works on the Saeco dies can be found at the following site. He's been down for a while - moving shop I believe.

http://www.sizingdie.com/ - Robert Stillwell

Best regards-

Sky

Sky!

There you are.

Thanks for the site, I'll go look and hope he's there.

This "Big Fifty" project is going to take a while but I do have the barrel coming from Montana Rifleman and a clunky old Itlain Sharps replica to use for the action.

I'll keep you advised.

Good morning,
Forrest

I do not know how much clearance a SAECO press has, but I bought a used Lyman press to size 50 bmg cast bullets among others, but the press was far too small to accept the bullet. The 50 bmg bullets were over 2" long. I ended up getting .512 and .376 Lee sizing dies to use in my single stage press for sizing and seating gas checks for these bullets.
