While waiting to put my target up I shot at a 2" rock on the back stop. That's about 130 yards. To my surprise it hit only 6" high. I cranked the scope up and the next shot dusted it. The next 10 shots were mostly on paper and formed about about a 10" group.I was driving the bullet with 68 gr. of 8208.My Chroy is dead so I don't know if I was too fast or if my twist was too slow. My Ohler won't arrive until Christmas so this experiment is on hold till than. If you are reading this thank you ben. Bwana-be what are your results? Does anyone have any constructive advice for future continuation using these bullets. [Frown] [Roll Eyes] [Smile]

My results so far are just some admiration for a good looking bullet.
I let John Ricks borrow it. He said he'd have it back to me in a few weeks, and in exchange is rechambering it to 358/404. [Big Grin]
I'll let you know after Christmas.
The thing should be able to push these around 2800 fps, But i want to keep it <2200.
My case will hold about 118-120g of water, so if that's comparable to yours, try 75-78g of H450 or IMR 7828, H4831, RL 22 - something around there.
That should be in the ballpark.

Actually, I just measured, and the base is a little smaller. It's only .541 inches, not feet.

These are chamber dimensions(reamer)
1. Head diameter=.5440"
2.OA Case Length=2.860"MAX.
3. Bolt face to shoulder=2.2750"
4. 30-0-0 degree shoulder angel
5. neck length= .4655"
6. Neck Dia.=.3900" to .39193"(tapper)
7. Large shoulder dia.=.530

***** If this is a chamber Dia. you might want to reconsider. Some of my brass is a hair over the .541"dia. [Smile]

Those were cartridge specs.
The reamer is .546" at base, 2.86" max case length.
Looks like your case holds about 113g of water, which is some 10g more than the STA.
Those loads I posted should work fine.
Maybe down or up 2 grains. The pressure will only be around 30k CUP, so no dangers there.
Really looking forward to shooting this beast with some 270-310 grainers. My hands are blistered from the wringing!
