Hi I have been offered a 2400mm x 1200mm sheet of bullet proof fibro, which is 2 sheets of fibro with a 2mm thick sheet of lead in between. Does anyone have some idea of what the Brinell hardness would have to be for lead used as bullet proof material? If it ends up being just pure lead, I'll have to find some tin and antimony somewhere I guess. Regards Jason

Well, lucky I was a bit sceptical, I ripped off a corner of the sheet and said to my mate" you silly wanker, it's not lead, it's bloody 2 or 3mm armour plate" ah well. Jason
