I have an RCBS lead pot that "went" bad. ( Ok- I wore it out!It was on my homemade caster!) It needed a new switch ( maybe 1$). But I called them & they said, "Send it in- it's covered!" So I did. I got it back today in a bare 3 weeks from Illinois to California.) Hmmmm... New switch, new pot, new thermostat,new nozzle,new knob, and new pin! NO CHARGE! A true "No BS (Barbara Striesand)" warranty! HOORAY for Rcbs! If you want an electric pot- REMEMBER THIS. ( If I could just talk them into making 4 cavity molds!-BIG SMILE!) Dale | ||

I send out two parts today to Lee after having called them. Their blanket warranty is 2 yrs but the lady said 'we don't bother to check/document when the item was bought'. Sounds good to me... So for $2 I get a new mandrel for my 308 dies and a new heating element for my Lee pot. I think maybe the way I clean the thing while HOT is the reason it went to H. Last time I sent to Lee I got a new 459-500 3R for just the cost of the mold I sent in and the shipping-- maybe $2 again. Granted the other mold was otta spec but cost me all of $5. That 459-500 3R [mold rec'd for replacement] is a shooter too, then some. | |||
