OK you guys, now that the Lee molds for the BDacp have been out there for awhile, anyone have feedback? Mountain Molds has told me a few folks have complained of feeding issues and he's considering adding a .043 fillet to the meplat, (rounding the edge a bit),to address this. So far the issues I've seen have been magazine or slide stop related due to the big fat nose on the bullet. I haven't seen the feed ramp issues myself, but I've defiinately seen my share of rough feed ramps in 1911s. BD

I just received a sample of the BD 45's from a co-poster on these boards. They sure are a good-looking profile! I need to load some up and fire them to test the slide stop issues, mostly--Lee 230 RN's can trip the stop if they're loaded out to near-max lengths, so we'll see. Pistols involved are S&W's, a 645 and a 4513TSW.

BD, put a comment line at the bottom. For example, the boolits are used mostly in a LC lever by me. The kids are shooting their acp's with light weight fully preped Leadhead boolits to save me manufacturing time. My choice, not theirs. ... felix

Felix, my thought was to get more detrailed comments in the thread here. Actually, I was surprised I could get it together to get the poll up. It took a few days to remember my "log in" name accurately enough for the new format to let me post. if I can figure out the "image" funtion I'll post the drawing MM sent me of the fillet. I guess not, it's in my email and the image function wants a URL. BD
