Several years ago an old man here in town had to be put in a home due to Alzeheimers. The property was bought by a neighbor who just wanted the place cleaned up,etc. A friend of mine who was an electrician was putting a new service + called me up. Get your ass over here asap with all the old 5 gal. buckets you can find. I did. Seems old Bill had been a handloader + caster also interested in wildcats since the 1930's.I filled up the back of my truck with buckets of brass, bullets, etc. A few weeks later one of my son's friends from high school was over visiting + saw some of my moulding blocks.(His Grandpa had bought the house + hired him to clean out the place). He said that he had seen quite a few of those moulding block things there with names like Hensley+ Gibbs,Ideal,ad nauseum. They just threw them in the dumpster. It still makes me ill after 30 years. Never mistake motion for action.

Still makes me sick indeed for the loss. The only positive on this issue was that his nephew too an interest in his old wildcat rifles. He had no interest in abstract calibers as it were,so I made him a deal to rechamber all the old(quere calibres) into something sensible like 30-06,270,ad nauseum.End of story was that I just rebarreled?headspaced + then took the old bbls;put them in new (vintage 98's)actions,put stocks on+ made a profit. Never mistake motion for action.
